How B Academics works →The old B Impact Assessment scored you across five areas. You needed 80 points overall and could choose where to earn them. The new standards replace the score with pass/fail requirements across foundation requirements and seven impact topics, among them Purpose & Stakeholder Governance, Fair Work, Climate Action and Human Rights. Every requirement in your scope must be met, and which requirements are in scope depends on your company's size and sector.
It depends on both size and sector. The same requirement can apply to a medium company in one sector and not in another, which is why the published list isn't much help on its own. Tell Ecolytics your size and sector and you get your own set. A demo walks through it with you.
Yes. You'll recertify under the new standards on your next cycle. Your old score doesn't carry over, and work that earned points before may land differently now, so it's worth checking where you stand against the new framework early rather than late.
